DJ Shivers began his DJ career back in 2001 after joining the 5" Taint DJ
collective based in Washington, DC. With them DJ Shivers worked every aspect of
the club community from DJ to party promoter, and from chauffeur to club manager. In early 2003 Shivers took an early retirement to focus on school and life.
This time took him all over the world, from the beaches of Croatia, to the
temples of Japan.
In early 2007 Shivers finally decided to return to DJing after being inspired by his travels and the works of producers and DJs like Soulwax/2 Many DJs, Tiga, MSTRKFRT, and Boys Noize. Shivers taste in music has changed over the last 7 years. His original funky disco house sound has developed into a more sophisticated mesh of techno, electro, and funky house. blah blah blah... |
